| Each year AMIT embarks on an end of the year campaign. These gifts help support the education of thousands of young Israelis while continuing the academic excellence for which AMIT is so well known.
But there are even more reasons to contribute to our campaign.
There is Alina, the daughter of drug addicts, who with the help of her AMIT high school in Beersheva, will graduate with a full bagrut diploma, go on to perform National Service, and attend university.
There is Emma, whose father is chronically unemployed, whose mother ekes out a meager living as a manual laborer and who faces serious learning disabilities. With extra counseling and tutorials at her AMIT high school in Petach Tikvah, Emma has completed a course of study that will allow her to become a medical secretary upon the completion of her army service.
And there is Sami, who was so traumatized by the constant rocket attacks in Sderot that his grades severely suffered and he nearly dropped out of his AMIT high school. He was offered individual therapy sessions and his homeroom teacher received guidance and counseling on how to better help him. Sami is much improved and back on track to graduate high school with honors. |  | These students are just four of the thousands that AMIT can point to with pride, for it is the care and special services provided by AMIT that has made possible their success now and for the future. And it is an achievement that our friends and supporters help make possible each year with their generous end of the year donations.
Your gift will provide AMIT with the resources to offer our students innovative programming, a longer school year, extra tutoring, counseling, scholarship assistance and whatever help is essential to ensure that they can succeed academically and begin on the path towards a happy and productive life. Some 70 percent of AMIT students reside in struggling development towns or other peripheral areas of the country, and it is essential that AMIT be able to provide the "extras" to meet their specific needs.
