محمود احمدینژاد، رئیس جمهوری ایران، دو هفته پس از تصویب دور چهارم تحریمها در شورای امنیت سازمان ملل علیه ایران، اعلام کرد که هفته آینده تهران شرایط گفتوگو با کشورهای ۱+۵ را اعلام خواهد کرد.
محمود احمدینژاد در انتقادی تند از کشورهای غربی و به ویژه ایالات متحده گفت: «طوری گفتوگو میکنیم که پشیمان شوید که دیگر از این غلطها نکنید.»
پس از تصویب دور چهارم تحریمها در شورای امنیت، از جمله نیکولا سارکوزی، رئیس جمهوری فرانسه، کاترین اشتون، رئیس سیاست خارجی اتحادیه اروپا و برخی از مقامهای آمریکایی اعلام کردند که باب گفتوگو با ایران در زمینه برنامه هستهایاش بسته نشده است.
محمود احمدینژاد که در زمان دو دولت وی چهار قطعنامه تحریمی علیه ایران صادر شده است، صدور این قطعنامهها را نشانه «تواناییهای ملت ایران» دانست و گفت: «چیزی به نام قطعنامه درست کردهاند که امروز خودشان بیشتر از آن میترسند و پس از صدور قطعنامه نیز مصاحبه کردند و نامه دادند که این قطعنامه برای تنبیه نیست بلکه برای گفتوگوست.»
رئیس دولت دهم در ادامه صدور قطعنامهها را مطابق خواست دولت دانست و گفت: «آنها با صدور قطعنامه حرف ما را مستند کرده و سند آن را روی میز میگذارند و ما خوشحالیم که آنها در نقشه ما حرکت میکنند.»
محمود احمدینژاد با بیان اینکه غربیها از قدرتهایی که دارند نمیتوانند استفاده کنند، بدون ذکر جزییات گفت: «این قدرتها در برابر ملت ایران از کار افتاده و کاری از دستشان برنمیآید، چرا که نمیدانند ما چه داریم و از این مسئله وحشت دارند.»
رئیس دولت دهم همچنین دو جبهه را در جهان ترسیم کرد که یکی از آنها «جبهه پاکان» به رهبری ایران و دیگری «جبهه مادیون» به رهبری آمریکاست.
سنای آمریکا با اجماع کامل لایحه تحریم شرکتهایی که با صنایع انرژی ایران یا شرکتهای مرتبط با سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی همکاری دارند را تصویب کرد.
به گزارش رادیو فردا، این طرح در مجلس نمایندگان هم در حال بررسی است که در صورت تصویب در مجلس نمایندگان هم، برای تبدیل آن به قانون باید به امضای رییس جمهوری آمریکا هم برسد.
این طرح، سرمایهگذاری در حوزه نفت و گاز، صادرات بنزین و فرآورده های نفتی به ایران و شرکت های مرتبط با سپاه پاسداران را هدف گرفته و شرکت ها و موسساتی که بر خلاف آن عمل کنند، با قطع رابطه با بازار آمریکا مواجه خواهند شد.
طرح سنا و مجلس نمایندگان آمریکا تلاش دارد هزینه ها در صنایع انرژی ایران را بالا ببرد و فشارها بر جمهوری اسلامی ایران برای تعقیب برنامه اتمی را افزایش دهد.
مجلس نمایندگان آمریکا پیشتر طرح خود را در ماه اکتبر، حدود هشت ماه پیش تصویب کرده بود و مجلس سنا هم این طرح مشابهی را در ماه ژانویه امسال، حدود پنج ماه پیش به تصویب رساند؛ این دو طرح سرانجام از سوی یک کمیته مشترک از سنا و مجلس نمایندگان به صورت طرح واحدی درآمده است؛ اکنون که طرح تلفیقی این دو نهاد قانونگذاری، در سنای آمریکا به تصویب رسیده، مجلس نمایندگان نیز باید آن را از تصویب بگذارند.
سناتور کریستوفر داد و هوارد برمن ازمجلس نمایندگان درباره این طرح گفتند:«اول باید جلوی فعالیت هسته ای نامشروع ایران را بگیریم و این طرح به دولت آمریکا این ابزار را می دهد که با قدرت و قاطع حرکت ایران را عوض کند.»
کاخ سفید هم از این طرح حمایت کرده و گفت که این استراتژی چند جانبه، کمکی است برای فشار آوردن و انزوای ایران.»
طرح یاد شده دامنه مقررات تحریمی و تنبیه قانون تحریم های ایران مصوب سال ۱۹۹۶ را افزایش داده و فشارها بر شرکت های مرتبط با صنایع انرژی ایران را بیشتر می کند. آن هم در حالی که ایران برای سرمایه گذاری و نیز تهیه سوخت نیاز به همکاری شرکت های خارجی دارد.
این طرح همچنین بانک هایی که ارتباط مالی با موسسات مالی مرتبط با سپاه پاسداران و برنامه هسته ای جمهوری اسلامی دارند را از هرگونه ادامه همکاری ممنوع می کند.
طرح مزبور شرکت های خارجی که هرگونه فناوری سانسور، فیلترینگ و مقابله با جریان آزاد اطلاعات را به جمهوری اسلامی داده باشند را از ارتباط و قرارداد و خرید از بازار آمریکا ممنوع می کند.
همچنین چارچوبی قانونی به ایالت های آمریکا و دولت های محلی داده می شود تا هرگونه شریک تجاری و سرمایه گذار در صنایع انرژی ایران را مورد تعقیب قانونی قرار دهند.
Yesterday, there was a new meeting between Iranian oppposition leaders Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi. The statement released on this occasion emphasized on the following issues:
Emphasize the respect for Marja (Grand Ayatollahs) and their high stature in Shi'a: Mehdi Karroubi and Mir Hossein Mousavi pointed out the history of Shi'a [religion] since Imam Mahdi's (Shi'a's hidden Imam) absence and the establishment of the religious scholars. They considered Marja as one of the most important foundations of the society; Shi'as have respected this for centuries and have never allowed and will not allow any person or group to insult the stature of Marja. They emphasized that no government or authority can remove the love of these guardians of the religion from the hearts of the believers by relying on a group of thugs, and therefore they condemned the premeditated unprecedented insult and offence of a group sponsored by the government and their illegal entering to the house of Grand Ayatollah Sane'i and destroying the properties in his office as well as the house of late Grand Ayatollah Montazeri.
Weakening the stature of the Parliament is cause for concern and sorrow:Karroubi and Mousavi expressed their sorrow and concern for the weakening of the legislative branch [by the government], which started by making an excuse out of the bequeathing of Azad University to charity. They emphasized that, according to the Constitution, the legislative branch acts via the Parliament and this Parliament approves laws for all public affairs as asserted by the Constitution. However, some don't even respect the stature of this Parliament. Karroubi and Mousavi pointed out the government's denying the people's legal and legitimate request to hold a silent demonstration, while an organized group, in complete security, attacks whoever and wherever they want. Karroubi and Mousavi emphasised that it is necessary that everyone stands against these kinds of actions that diminish the stature of the legislative branch and the ability of the members of the Parliament and that they don't allow those fleeing from the law to achieve their illegitimate goals with these kinds of methods.
Condemning recent arrests: The current security trend and recent arrests, especially the arrests of a number of outstanding and elite students of the country were discussed, and both men pointed to the chaotic situation of the detention centres and prisons which have imposed hard conditions on country's political prisoners. They called this trend a contradiction to the country's rules and regulations.
Efforts for promoting awareness about the fundamental rights and freedoms, especially among various unions and groups: At the end of their joint meeting, both men once again emphasized othe rightful demands of the Green Movement and the role of promoting awareness and knowledge in the society about the assured rights and fundamental freedoms of all classes of the society. They called on all groups, especially unions, to make efforts to raise awareness among the various layers of the society about their rightful and legitimate demands.

Iranian opposition leaders Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi have condemned the latest attacks by Ahmadinejad supporters on the Majlis (Islamic Parliament). The latest episode revealing further cracks in the Islamic Republic establishment revolves around an attempt by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to control Iran's largest university, Islamic Azad University. Mousavi and Karroubi urged everyone to stand up against those who are trying to "escape the law" in order to reach their "illegitimate goals."
On Tuesday, Ahmadinejad supporters protested outside the Majlis after Ahmadinejad’s bill, which proposed to replace a number of Islamic Azad University board members, was voted down by the MPs. The protesters even threatened to "blast" the Parliament if the MPs did not back down from their resistance against Ahmadinejad's bill.
Azad University is a private institution with 1.5 million students. It is widely regarded as a centre of support for Iranian reformists. Mousavi and Karroubi claimed that it is surprising how the government refuses to issue a permit for the "Protest of Silence" which the opposition had planned for the anniversary of the controversial presidential elections of 2009 on June 12; however, "an organized group" such as the one which was threatening MPs on Tuesday is allowed to "stage an attack" anywhere they want.
